How do I get to Seattle? 

 

Campers are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from Seattle. For those flying in, Sea-Tac Airport is the closest airport. 

 

How do I get to the Conibear Shellhouse?

 

From Sea-Tac, consider riding the Link Light Rail to the University of Washington campus stop. The Link drops riders off outside of Husky Stadium, just a 5’ walk to the boathouse. Sea-Tac also offers rideshare options such as Uber, Lyft, or taxi. 

 

When should I arrive?

 

Check-in for campers takes place on Monday at (11:00am). Campers can bring bags and belongings to Conibear. Baggage will be transported by coaches and counselors to camp housing in the evening after the rowing sessions. 

 

What should I bring?

 

Things to consider when packing for rowing: water, weather, sun! Plan on bringing athletic clothing such as t-shirts, tank tops, thin long sleeve, shorts, spandex, tennis shoes, socks, rubber/sandal shoes, sunscreen, water bottle, hat, sunglasses. Pack to prepare yourself for 2 water or land training sessions per day. Outside of training sessions, pack for daily comfort.
