What should you bring to Camp
-
Sunscreen.
-
You will need to bring your own fitted sheet, top sheet, blanket, pillow and pillow case.
-
Sun Shirt with a hood for sun protection.
-
Sunglasses that you will row and train in.
-
Uni, and other tight athletic clothing that won’t get caught in the tracks.
-
Running shoes: we wont be doing a lot of running, but there could be some and you will want running shoes if we use the C2 bikes, and box jumps.
-
Backpack for bring extra clothing items down to the boathouse.
-
Splash jacket or waterproof jacket that you can row in that will move with you.
-
Two water bottles. One for electrolytes and one for water.
Other optional Items

Find a protein powder that you like to drink after you train.

Chocolate milk can be a good option as it has a great ratio of carbs to protein

Arrival Day 1

If campers are flying in, they should plan on Uber from the airport to the Olympic House. Uber is on the 2nd floor of the parking garage. look for signs for Rideshare/ Uber/ Lyft

Check in at the Olympic house from 9:00 AM to 11:00
-
Head down to the Boathouse for lunch
-
Have your rowing gear with you or on when you arrive for lunch.
-
You must have shorts, sweatpants or leggings over any rowing trou or uni.
-
Shirts are required to be warn in dining hall.
-
Shoes or sandals must be warn in dinning hall. No bare feet.

Arrive at boathouse by 11:00

Orientation from 11:30-12:00 Pm

12:15 parents say goodbyes if they haven't already.

Tour of the rowing facility to learn about how boats and oars should be stored.

First practice starts at 2:30 PM
Day 5 (last practices):

Breakfast at Olympic house from 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM
-
Camp Rowers will have two practices on Friday. First practice will be at 8:00 AM - 10:30 AM
-
Lunch 11:00 AM -12:30 PM
-
training 1:30 PM -2:30 PM
-
Campus tour 3:00 PM starting at the boathouse ending at olympic house.
-
Athletes should be checked out of their rooms and ready for pick up by 5:45 PM.
