The Daily Schedule

Day 1 ​Monday 

  • 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM arrival, and checkin ( see below for more details. 

  • orientation at Olympic House 11:30 AM

  • Lunch 12:15 PM 

  • 2:30 Pm Practice 1)  Mobility scan for injury prevention. session with PT Coach. 

  • Dinner 5:30-7:00 PM at Conibear 

  • Head over to U-Village with Camp Counsellors 

  • Back to the Olympic house by 9:00 PM 

Day 2: Tuesday 

  • Breakfast 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM 

  • Practice 8:00 AM-10:00 AM AM

  • 10:15 AM-11:30 AM Video Review. Make sure you have a recover drink. We will provide basic fruit for snacks

  • 11:30 to 1:00 Lunch in Conibear Dining 

  • 2:30 5:30 Strength and conditioning

  • 5:15-7:00 Dinner. 

  • head up to Hub activities 

  • 9:00 PM Back at Olympic house 

  • 9:45 in rooms 

  • 10:00 PM Lights out. 

Day 3: Wednesday 

  • Breakfast 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM 

  • Practice 8:00 AM-10:00 AM AM

  • 10:15-11:30 Video Review. Make sure you have a recover drink. We will provide basic fruit for snacks

  • 11:30 to 1:00 Lunch in Conibear Dining 

  • 2:30 5:30 Strength and conditioning

  • 5:15-7:00 Dinner. 

  • Camp Fire and Smores, Q&A with Counselors 

  • 9:00 PM Back at Olympic house 

  • 9:45 PM in rooms 

  • 10:00 PM Lights out. 

Day 4: Thursday 

  • Breakfast 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM 

  • Practice 8:00 AM-10:00 AM AM

  • 10:15-11:30 Video Review. Make sure you have a recover drink. We will provide basic fruit for snacks

  • 11:30 to 1:00 Lunch in Conibear Dining 

  • 2:30 5:30 info session Nutritionist 

  • 5:15-7:00 Dinner. 

  • 7:00 Head over to the U Village Ice Cream and 

  • 9:00 PM Back at Olympic house 

  • 9:45 in rooms 

  • 10:00 PM Lights out. 

Day 4: Friday 

  • Breakfast 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM 

  • Practice 8:00 AM-10:00 AM AM

  • 10:15-11:30 Video Review. Make sure you have a recover drink. We will provide basic fruit for snacks

  • 11:30 to 12:30 

  • 1:30 PM  - 2:30 PM  Last training session 

  • 3:00 PM Campus Tour 

  • Tour ends at the Olympic house.

What should you bring to Camp

  • Sunscreen.

  • The Olympic House will provide bedding: Sheets, Blankets, Pillows, and pillow cases. If you would like to bring your own that is totally fine. We will just be providing the basics. 

  • Sun Shirt with a hood for sun protection.

  • Sunglasses that you will row and train in.

  • Uni, and other tight athletic clothing that won’t get caught in the tracks.

  • Running shoes: we wont be doing a lot of running, but there could be some and you will want running shoes if we use the C2 bikes, and box jumps.

  • Backpack for bring extra clothing items down to the boathouse.

  • Splash jacket or waterproof jacket that you can row in that will move with you.

  • Two water bottles. One for electrolytes and one for water.

Other optional Items

  • Find a protein powder that you like to drink after you train.

    • Chocolate milk can be a good option as it has a great ratio of carbs to protein

  • Electrolyte drink of your choice

Arrival Day 1 ​​

  1. If campers are flying in, they should plan on Uber from the airport to the Olympic House. Uber is on the 2nd floor of the parking garage. look for signs for Rideshare/ Uber/ Lyft 

  2. Check in at the Olympic house from 9:00 AM to 11:00 ​

  3. Head down to the Boathouse for lunch ​​​​

    • Have your rowing gear with you or on when you arrive for lunch. ​

    • You must have shorts, sweatpants or leggings over any rowing trou or uni.

    • Shirts are required to be warn in dining hall. 

    • Shoes or sandals must be warn in dinning hall. No bare feet. 

  4. Arrive at boathouse by 11:00

  5. Orientation from 11:30-12:00 Pm 

  6. 12:15 parents say goodbyes if they haven't already. 

  7. Tour of the rowing facility to learn about how boats and oars should be stored.

  8. First practice starts at 2:30 PM

Day 4 of Camp (last practices):​​

  1.  Breakfast at Olympic house from 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM

  2. Camp Rowers will have two practices on Friday. First practice will be at 8:00 AM - 10:30 AM

  3. Lunch 11:00 AM -12:30 PM 

  4. training 1:30 PM -2:30 PM 

  5. Campus tour 3:00 PM starting at the boathouse ending at olympic house. 

  6. checkout and picked up by 5:45 PM
